How to Order

To place orders please send me an e-mail message indicating what specimen(s) you are interested in : (mineral, code, cost and locality) and where you are from (the country). I will then reserve and hold the specimen(s) for you. I will generally respond within 24 hours (approximately) to indicate the total cost of your order. Specimens will be held for 2 days awaiting confirmation, unless you warn us that you will need longer.

Shipping cost

For parcels under 0.3kg: If you live in the United Kingdom there will be a £2.50 s/h charge for all package weights up to 0.3kg. (First Class Standard Service) If you live in the United States/Worldwide there will be a $8 s/h charge for all package weights up to 0.3kg. (Air Economy Service 3-7days delivery) If you live in Europe (EEC) there will be a 5 Euro s/h charge for all package weights up to 0.3kg. (Air Economy Service 3-7days delivery) Parcels over 0.3kg will be charged at cost: UK +£0.50 per 100g to 2.0kg then Price on Application USA/Worldwide +$0.50 per 20g to 2.0kg then Price on Application Europe +0.30 Euro per 20g to 2.0kg then Price on Application

All shipping costs subject to prevailing UK Royal Mail rates, which might change. Thomson Minerals reserves the right to change these rates should underlying costs change. All approximate specimen weights (over 100gms) are given on the specimen details. Shipping costs will economise when 2 or more specimens are purchased together. We will always quote and charge actual costs. Insurance, Recorded Delivery or alternative Carrier can be provided at cost to purchaser.

Shipping

Once I receive your payment, I will package up the specimen(s) and send them via the Postal Service or carrier, as agreed. All established customer orders would be filled immediately upon receipt of payment. Customs charges are the buyers responsibility - Thomson Minerals is not liable for these charges.Insurance is advised for higher value items, as we cannot be held liable for loss or damage in the post.

Payment
	If you want to use snail-mail for cheques (GBP Sterling only please) and money orders, I will send the buyer the address to which payment may be sent. Otherwise please use Paypal.

I Take All Major Credit Cards through Paypal
	To pay via PayPal, log into your PayPal account at https://www.paypal.com/. Click on the Send Money tab, enter or copy this email address (payments@thomsonminerals.com) into the email address field, and enter the US dollar or GBP Sterling *Amount*. For *Type*, select: *Goods (other)*.

Returns

If you receive anything that you do not want to keep you have a 15-day return period. If it arrives damaged or you just hate it on sight, please let me know and send it straight back to me. Once I have received the specimen in the condition that it was sent, I'll return your money, less the shipping costs. I cannot accept returns after 15 days and may assume that you are keeping the items if you fail to communicate your intentions within this time.
