#BS14:Faden Quartz -Wana, Waziristan, Fata, Pakistan 6 x 3.8 x 1.9 cms (miniature) $48.00
Another lovely example of this unusual Quartz growth. This one has a double row of parallel doubly terminated crystals - kind of a 'Faden sandwich'. The white line through the centre, is made up of thousands of micro bubbles, typical of this habit, where the gemmy, mostly tabular Quartz crystals (nearly always doubly terminated), have grown in opposite directions simultaneously.

#06BM34: CAVANSITE & STILBITE WAGHOLI QUARRIES, PUNE, MAHARASHTRA, INDIA T/N: AVAILABLE: $17.95
Another great Cavansite thumbnail specimen from the world renowned quarries of Wagholi. Incidentally, If you have a Cavansite specimen labelled 'Wagholi Quarry' please be aware your specimen will have come from any one of about six or more quarries in the Wagholi district - each site takes its name from the manager or owner and many specimens find their way on to the market from anonymous miners who don't want the quarry owners to find out. This delightful little gem shows a sky blue sphere of prismatic bladed Cavansite crystals nestled on pearly Stilbite crystals.Associated tiny sprinkles of Apophyllite. Lovely!

#Btb73 : Apophyllite on Quartz Stalactite - Malad Quarry, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India small cab: 8.2 x 6.1 x 4.5cms : 167gms $46.00
A drusy Quartz Stalactite is encrusted with sparkling gemmy Apophyllite crystals. It really looks jewel - laden! The glassy Apophyllites display two types of termination, (with pinacoid and without, or 'flat -topped'), many of them doubly terminated. The main doubly terminated crystal is slightly larger (several cms). Can be displayed and viewed from any angle. Lovely

#BS13: Faden Quartz - Wana, Waziristan, Fata, Pakistan (miniature) 4.6 x 3.1 x 1cm $52.00
An excellent example of this unique Quartz growth. The crystals are very translucent, and clearly show the white line. On the top of this crystal 'stack' is a smaller DT Quartz growing epitaxial to the others (see second photo). The white line through the centre, is made up of thousands of micro bubbles, typical of this habit, where the gemmy, mostly tabular Quartz crystals (nearly always doubly terminated), have grown in opposite directions simultaneously. A lovely and aesthetic specimen
