Collected in 2007 from the beach and cliff exposures, this remarkable find of Aragonite associated with the rare complex hydrous manganese oxide TODOROKITE (the brown inclusions, usually towards the base of the Aragonite crystals)are featured in the UK journal of Mines and Minerals. #FOX02: Harmotome on Calcite Strontian Baryte Mine, Strontian, Argylleshire, Scotland Miniature: 42 x 45 x 28mm USD $30.00
Good example from this classic location. White crystals of Harmotome to 7mm across sit in nice contrast against the amber honey colour of the Calcite. Harmotome is a Zeolite and forms a series with Philipsite.

#BM0579: Fluorite Crystal Heights Mine, Westgate, Weardale, County Durham, England TN: 29 x 26 x 29mm USD $32.00
Old time specimen. Single cubed crystal of Fluorite 29mm on edge. Contact break on underside and a few 'nibbles' to edges, but otherwise a great crystal exhibiting a deep green core at 45 degree angle to the outer cube, with pale purple corners. Fluoresces very strongly violet under LWUV as all the Weardale Fluorites do. Extremely reasonable price.

#BTB85:- Quartz Crystals onSpecular Hematite - Ullcoats No.1 Mine, Egremont, Cumbria 368gms. 6.5 x 9.5 x 4.0 cms (small cabinet) was $49.00....SALE PRICE $31.00 !!
NOTE: AS OF MARCH 2007 THE MINES ARE NOW FLOODED. NEW SPECIMENS ARE UNLIKELY TO BE RETRIEVED FOR THE FORSEEABLE FUTURE. Nice example of gemmy Quartz crystals on a bed of specular, bladed crystals of Hematite over a massive Hematite matrix. The closed Ullcoats #1 Mine was at one time a seperate mine from the working Florence Mine at Egremont. It is believed that several of the tunnels between these mines are linked, which sometimes may pose a problem for exact location details of specimens.
